My name is Lauren Robson and I started Yoga Flow to improve access to Yoga for Everyone, to facilitate improved wellbeing on every level; physically, mentally and emotionally. I specialise in Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative and Pregnancy Yoga.
The main aim of Hatha Yoga is to create an absolute balance of the activities of the body and mind. Hatha Yoga is slow and deeply relaxing, focusing on the breath and alignment. Classes include Asana (physical postures), Pranayama (breath awareness), Mudra (gestures) and Savasana (relaxation).
A stimulating and rejuvenating class, where students learn to flow from one pose to the next continuously. Movements are co-ordinated with the breath to focus the mind. Beginning with a sequence to warm up the body, building up to a more energising flow to improve flexibility, strength and balance. The class slows down finishing in Savasana (relaxation).
Restorative Yoga postures are usually supine (lying down) and supported by props such as blankets, bolsters and blocks. The intention is to reset the nervous system and facilitate deep rest and relaxation.
A space to rest, relax and release. All classes include:
Yoga asana or physical postures to help create space and comfort in the body
Pranayama or breathing practice to maximise lung capacity and prepare for birthing
Deep relaxation aiming to calm the mind and improve sleep

Gym Member, Cottingley
I teach Vinyasa Flow and Hatha yoga with a strong focus on the alignment of the body. I like to think of Yoga as a moving meditation, encouraging students to practice with awareness of the breath and any sensations that may be present.
I initially trained in contemporary dance and worked in dance for many years, followed by a career in mental health services. I started practising Hatha Yoga on a regular basis in 2013.
I was really busy at work, always on the go - Yoga helped me to slow down and feel rested. Three years later I found Vinyasa Flow Yoga - I loved the energy & physical challenge of it and felt I could lose myself in the flow of the sequences.
I am fortunate enough to have studied in London with Sally Parkes, Chris Thompson and Paula Hines.
I have attend workshops with many inspiring Yoga & meditation teachers including Durga Devi, Edward Harpin and Swami Krishnapremananda. I have completed further training in Restorative yoga with Anna Ashby at Triyoga London. I have found Restorative yoga to be deeply restful and a tonic for our busy lives.
